The Scorpios:

  • At Kelly's, Mac talks with Taggert about the search for Luke. They don't realize that Elizabeth drops her coffee pot because she thinks for a moment that they're talking about Ted. (7/11)
  • Emily gets nervous when she hears Mac and Tammy talking, but again, Mac is talking about Luke. (7/13)

I. Mac's Still Determined (7/11)

Taggert: "Wow, you look like hell. What's up?"
Mac: "I've been trying to track down Robert's old Interpol contacts, trying to get them on Luke's trail."
Taggert: "Any luck?"
Mac: "No, not yet."
Taggert: "Well, you know the Spencer case is still pretty circumstantial."

Mac: "I don't care what anyone else thinks. I want you to bring me enough evidence to prove that it was murder."

Mac: "Look, do you doubt that it's foul play?"
Taggert: "Look, I'm saying this as a professional and a friend. Ease up, Mac."
Mac: "I will--as soon as I see Spencer behind bars."
Taggert: "For what? For what he might have done to Stefan Cassadine or for what he did to your marriage?"

Joan: "Somebody online asked how we could we know that Felicia wasn't with Luke: Let's put it this way: only if she wants to lose her children, finally and completely. They are all together at a dude ranch out West, where Mac calls the girls frequently. Since Maxie has no reason to lie for her mother, and would tell Mac in a heartbeat if Luke were around, we can infer that he isn't. Besides, we know that Geary is in Europe, and where he goes, Luke generally follows. They're tight that way."

Amy: "Geary has said that his one regret is that he looks so much like Luke Spencer."

II. Mac's Still Determined (7/13)

Tammy: "But if you don't have a body, and Luke's disappeared, how can you be sure about anything?"
Mac: "When Luke broke out of police custody, it was as good as a confession. Look, I have an A.P.B. out on him. We have Interpol tracking him in Europe."
Tammy: "Hmm. Regular manhunt, huh?"
Mac: "It's my job."
Tammy: "Luke's also cost you personally."
Mac: "I know Luke is your friend, and you want to defend him."
Tammy: "No, I understand why you feel the need to go after Luke. But are you sure that's not why you've got him pegged for Stefan's murder--just to get back at him?"
Mac: "Luke killed Stefan. That's the only reason I'm going after him, and I'm going to get him. Can I get a refill? Excuse me."
