Sonny and Carly:

• Carly asks if they can stay at the island a little longer, and Sonny agrees. He tells her that they have to go back to reality soon, but the two agree that this is a good place for them to be, that it's helped. They wind up sitting together, talking about the Fourth of July and the constellations, and then go for a walk together on the beach. (7/3)
• Benny arrives, and when he protests Sonny's decision to stay on the island for Carly's sake, Carly overhears Sonny talking about her as an obligation. She tells Michael that she's going to do the right thing for once, and then tells Sonny that they can head home immediately. (7/5)
• Sonny takes Michael and Carly out on the boat, and then they join Leticia on the beach. Sonny swims out too far and Carly gets nervous and goes in after him. He winds up bringing her in to shore, and they squabble a bit. He asks her if she wants to stay another extra day, and she says that they should get home. They celebrate their last night on the island in the usual way. (7/6)
• Carly and Sonny bring Michael home. Sonny still thinks it was too early for Carly to come back, and asks her to focus on Michael. He deals with Benny's multiple phone calls and puts Michael to bed. When he comes downstairs, Carly tells him that she and Michael will be moving out soon. (7/7)
• Sonny thinks she's leaving because of her memories of the baby, but Carly tells him that she's leaving because there's no reason to stay. Sonny talks about Michael and says he'd like things to stay the same, but he can't say the thing Carly needs to hear: that he wants her to stay. So she tells him that she won't be a burden and that they'll be moving into Bobbie's tomorrow. (7/10)
• When Sonny outlines the arrangements he's made for her and Michael, Carly just gets mad. She finally agrees to take money from Jason's side of the business. Sonny tells her that he won't let her push him out of Michael's life, and she says that she will never try. Sonny says goodbye to Michael and then walks them to the elevator. Carly can't look at him as the doors close. (7/11)
• Sonny storms around the penthouse; Carly storms around the brownstone. When Mike arrives, Johnny tells him Sonny's been like this since Carly left, but Mike goes in anyway. He notes that Sonny misses Carly, but really wants to ask about the poker game. Sonny tells him that he'll have to pay protection like anybody else. Meanwhile, Taggert bumps into his new neighbor, and Sonny shows up at the brownstone to ask Carly and Michael for dinner just as Leticia is trying to convince Carly that Sonny would want them all back. After Sonny leaves, Carly decides she can't be noble anymore; she wants to live with Sonny. So she goes after him. (7/14)
• Sonny runs into Elizabeth on the docks. As they talk about love that ends, Carly walks up, sees them, and misinterprets. (7/14)
