Ned and Alexis:

• After Alexis explodes at Helena's yacht party, she runs into the matriarch again while at the hospital with Chloe and Jax. They suggest that she go and surprise Ned in Detroit, but she winds up getting surprised herself. (7/19)
• Ned gets rid of the reporters, but Alexis is humiliated. The only way she'll go to the concert now is in disguise. Afterwards, Ned tries to make her feel better. He succeeds. (7/20)

I. Helena Drives Alexis to Detroit (7/19)

Alexis: "Nikolas is doing a good job."
Ned: "Oh, he's doing great. In fact, he set up a TV interview with one of the local stations. I think it's for the 5:00 spot."
Alexis: "Can you get me a tape? I'd love to see it."

Alexis: "I'm bored, anxious, and lonely. Did I mention lonely?"

Jax: "Well, tell him to get his leather pants back here. We need him."
Alexis: "They miss you."

Jax: "Yes, and Helena's music box had been broken for years, apparently, and there's no way Chloe could have known what it played."
Alexis: "I can only hope that she was beside herself."

Alexis: "That's not concrete. Dreams are not admissible in court. If we're going to charge Helena, we'd better have proof. Otherwise, she'll get vindictive."

Helena: ""when shall we three meet again?" well, it was lovely to see you last night. Did you enjoy yourselves or was the pleasure all mine?"

Alexis: "Let's just be very clear about this--you will not get your hands on Nikolas' estate. If he wishes to contribute to general hospital, then he'll do so, but your "lady bountiful" act is over. And as far as my brother, I will prove that you poisoned him, even if it is the last thing that I do. I'm done."

Alexis: "You're right. You're absolutely right. I'm very sorry, but every time I see her despicable face, I say things that I don't have any control over."

Alexis: "Chloe, if I dealt with my feelings about Stefan or my mother, I wouldn't be able to get up in the morning. I grieve by just moving on and keeping busy. That's how I do it. May not seem healthy, but it works for me. And I appreciate your concern, but it would be best if we don't talk about this anymore. Let's change the subject."

Ned: "I'm a simple kind of guy. After practice, I like to refuel. The concert's in a couple hours, so that means it's time to rest, relax, and enjoy all the creature comforts that this fair city has to offer."
