| I. Eddie's Angel Makes Another Unplanned
Appearance (9/6)
Alexis:
"All right, I'm not sure this is a good idea because I want my scantily clad,
cheap, tawdry alter ego to avoid publicity, not get any more."
Ned: "Sweetheart, do you trust me?"
Alexis: "I refuse to answer that on the grounds that it may incriminate--"
Ned: "But I have to say, I've got my work cut out for me. You know, it's
not going to be easy dispelling the public interest in a woman so absolutely irresistible."
Alexis: "Yeah, it's a curse."
Chris: "And have you seen the drag queens?"
Ned: "Drag queens?"
Chris: "But as a performer, don't you depend on publicity to keep your
career going? I mean, are you saying that you want the right to pick and choose
what publicity the press goes with? You opened yourself up to being in the news
by agreeing to the interview. If the media then catches something on tape, shouldn't
they be allowed to share it with their viewers or readers?"
Ned: "I'm not denying the first amendment rights of the press. I'm just saying
there has to be a little room here for individual privacy as well."
Ned: "What the hell is going here? Now, give me the tape!"
Chris: "Look, stop tape. I am so sorry. We came back to get b-roll on the studio.
We had no idea Alexis was here."
Ned: "Unbelievable."
Chris: "Since you are here, would like to comment on this Angel's--"
Alexis: "I have a comment, you big sleaze ball, pervert, peeping tom!"
Ned: "I have the tape, I have the tape. Here's the evidence right here.
Destroying the evidence. No problem, honey. We're just going to let the interview
just speak for itself. Destroyed. It's all good."
II. And It's On Tape for Posterity (9/7)
Ned:
"And I promise, the only person who will see you in this teddy is me."
Alexis: "And I promise, if you want this worn, you're going to have to wear it."
Alexis: "I actually think it would look very good on you."
Ned: "They gave me a dummy tape. I destroyed a dummy tape."
Alexis: "Dummy."
Alexis: "I look like a hooker."
Ned: "And I'm to blame. It's all because of me."
Alexis: "You mean you really think I look like a hooker?"
Ned: "No. No. I mean the interview--it was my idea."
Ned: "Maybe no one saw it. [telephones ring]"
Alexis: "We need to start a computer virus, something that will just go
in there and wipe out any reference to Eddie's Angels. Can your computer friend
do that?"
Ned: "I think it's highly illegal."
Alexis: "So?"
Ned: "We just have to disappear."
Alexis: "You know, I have a client who can make that happen."
Arda: "I hate this stupid 'Eddie's Angel' storyline--they're wasting
Grahan and Kurth."
Amy: "Yes, but I amuse myself with the thought that surely Luke will
get a copy of that poster for the bar. Or at least the back room. After all, we
wouldn't want Helena to be the only Cassadine pin-up at Luke's!"
