The Quartermaines:
- After Carly tells him that Jason is home, AJ starts to drink. He fights with
his family, who try to figure out how to help him, and then he goes to Jake's,
where he tells Jason that he hates him. (9/5)
- The family's having a typical breakfast when Gia shows up unannounced. Emily
covers, and the family is delighted to meet one of Emily's friends. Later, Monica
gets a call from Hannah about AJ and goes to her son. (9/6)
- Hannah tells the Qs what has happened. She cautions them not to alert the
media. Ned corrals his grandfather, and Alan and Monica blame themselves for not
paying enough attention to Emily. (9/12)
- The family rattles around the house snarking at each other. Lila calms Edward
down while Ned questions Nikolas about Zander. Meanwhile, Alexis tries to calm
Ned down while Monica and then Alan show up at the PCPD to talk to Jason. AJ arrives
too, finally, and when their parents are gone, asks Jason if he can find Emily.
Jason says he has a better chance than the cops, and AJ pushes to have him released.
Hannah agrees, and Taggert lets AJ go. (9/13)
- The family continues to worry and quarrel. Monica cancels her doctor's appointment,
and Ned tries to convince Edward not to start any publicity campaigns. (9/20)
- Lila and Edward talk to Ned about Alexis, and after he leaves, Monica comes
home. Edward lights into her about stopping her fertility treatments, but admits
to Lila he doesn't think she'll ever really get pregnant. (9/21)
- Jason brings Emily's letter home, and the family is relieved to hear that
she is alright. AJ, however, drinks heavily when he sees their response to Jason.

- Garcia brings the news that Emily's been spotted with Zander near the border.
Monica clings to Alan, and to the letter. (9/28)
