The Corinthos Family:

• While Carly tells Elizabeth to stay away from Jason, Sonny and Jason talk about Mike. Later, Carly comes to Jason and tells him that he has to take her away, that she can't live with Sonny anymore. Jason asks her to wait for things to settle. Sonny, meanwhile, meets with Alexis and the cops. She tells him that he can either marry Carly or send her out of the country with Jason. Sonny comes home and informs Carly that she has to marry him. (9/1)
  
• Carly says that she won't marry Sonny to keep him out of prison. She leaves and goes to talk to Lila, who asks her if she wants Jason or Sonny. Meanwhile, Alexis asks Sonny why Jason taking Carly out of the country is not an option. (9/4)
  
• Sonny tells Alexis that he will not decide Jason's life for him. At the Qs, AJ arrives and Carly tells him that Jason will protect Michael from him, like always. Later, Alexis goes to Jason with the option Sonny won't give him, while Carly tells Sonny that she'll do anything to help him, but she won't marry him. (9/5)
  
• Sonny asks Jason what he wants; Jason says that he will take Carly and Michael away if Sonny asks him to, but that he doesn't want that life for them. He doesn't love Carly the way she wants him to. Later, Carly tells Sonny that Jason will take her away, and goes to see Jason at Jake's. Mike then shows up at the penthouse, and tries to apologize. (9/7)
  
• Carly and Sonny set some ground rules for their upcoming marriage, and as they work out the details for dinner that night, Sonny gets a call that Jason's been arrested. Sonny says Carly can go to the police station, but she has to be calm and she can't let on that they're going to get married. (9/11)
  
• Down at the station, Carly lets everyone have it until Jason sends her home with Sonny. Taggert wants to hold him until they can find Emily, even though the charges are bogus. Alexis gets in on the action. Later, back at home, Carly begs Sonny not to meet with Sorel. (9/12)
  
• She asks again that he let Jason handle it, but he won't discuss it. While he's out, Bobbie comes for a visit. She tells Carly to make a choice between Jason and Sonny, and can tell--though Carly's not saying it--that Carly cares for Sonny. Sonny comes home, Bobbie leaves, and then Alexis arrives with the news. The DA is going to try to surprise them with a deposition, so the marriage has to happen tonight. (9/14)
  
• Hasty preparations are made: Carly puts on the dress Sonny bought for her on the island, Alexis goes for flowers, Jason shows up and they ask him to serve as best man. The Justice of the Peace arrives, and the ceremony starts. Carly falters, and says that she can't go through with it. (9/15)
  
• Jason talks with Carly and tells her that Sonny does care about her, and that she cares about Sonny, or she wouldn't have reacted this way. He makes a bet that she'll be happy with Sonny, and promises he'll take her away if she isn't. She puts her wedding dress back on and they go downstairs. Meanwhile, Sonny has convinced the Justice of the Peace to stay, and hears part of their conversation at the door. The wedding continues, and Sonny and Carly both say their vows. (9/18)
  
• Alexis tells Dara that Sonny and Carly are married. Dara turns to Bobbie (who's there to see Luke), but Bobbie tells her that she's not surprised. (9/21)
  
• Carly fights with Elizabeth at Kelly's. Elizabeth tells Carly she knows about the wedding, and then spouts off to Mike. Carly tells Mike that she and Sonny are married, and he congratulates her. Bobbie arrives, and tries to convince Carly that her marriage will work out because she and Sonny care about each other. (9/21)
  
• Jason checks in, and reassures both Carly and Sonny that they will have a nice night together. Both have planned something special, and everything goes according to plan. (9/22)
  
• Carly is happy when Mike arrives with a wedding present, while Tammy tells Sonny that Mike is sorry and he holds out the possibility that things will be ok. But while Carly starts realizing that Mike is possibly working her, Sonny gets the news that Mike has borrowed money again. He shows up at the penthouse and turns down Mike's gift. They get into an argument, and Mike hits Sonny across the face. Carly throws him out, and tries to comfort Sonny. Sonny says that he can't take it, that everything is alright, it's over, and he has to be alone. (9/26)
  
• Carly is upset when Sonny keeps shutting her out, and she talks to Jason about it. Sonny, meanwhile, wants to make it up to her, but sees her with Jason. (9/28)
  
• He waits until she's gone, and then talks to Jason. Meanwhile, Carly opens up to her mother about Sonny and says that she appreciates their relationship more having seen Sonny with Mike. Later, she tells Sonny that she's going to give him some space, but he says that their marriage is a mistake, and that he's letting her go. (9/29)
