I. Carly Puts Her Foot Down (10/2)

Sonny: "I'm letting you go."
Carly: "Go where?"

Sonny: "If Jason hadn't been here to convince you to go through with it, there wouldn't be a marriage."
Carly: "You don't know that."

Carly: "I'm a situation now?"
Sonny: "No, not--not you. The marriage."

Carly: "You can't annul me, Sonny. You said so yourself. You are the only thing standing between A.J. and Michael. You go to prison, A.J. could get custody of Michael."

Carly: "It was almost good, wasn't it?"
Sonny: "Yeah, we came close."

Alexis: "Just because I'm your neighbor doesn't make me an attorney on demand."
Sonny: "We're in crisis control."
Carly: "'Control' being the operative word here."

Carly: "What, I'm just the little woman?"
Sonny: "Not for long. I'm going to make you happy, even if it kills me."

Alexis: "Well, why don't you two kids kiss and make up because you're Mr. And Mrs. until the trial is over."

Carly: "Butt out, Sonny. That is not going to happen. Jason doesn't want to do it, and we're not forcing him."
Alexis: "Then you're looking at his-and-her towels."

Sonny: "I can tell you're upset."
Carly: "Would you for once just not tell me how I'm feeling?"
Sonny: "What did I do?"
Carly: "Did it ever occur to you to ask me what I wanted? Did you ever stop to think maybe I don't want to go, maybe I want to stay here?"

Carly: "The fixer and the controller. It's no wonder we're always fighting."
Sonny: "Not always."

Sonny: "You wanted to help me today, and I didn't mean to hurt you."
Carly: "I know."
Sonny: "But I did, ok? And you don't deserve that. You shouldn't be tied down to somebody like me when you can be with a man that you love. And I want that for you. That's why I think we're both better off if we get out of this marriage as soon as possible."

Carly: "Look, you know, I realize that being married to me was--is not exactly your idea of a picnic. Nonetheless, you've been incredibly decent about it, and I don't want you to worry that you're hurting me by keeping me here because you're not. And I really, really don't want you to worry that you need to let me go so that I can be with the man that I love."

Sonny: "You're a good person, Carly, despite all the trouble you make."
Carly: "So are you."
