The Teen Scene:

I. Tempers Flare (10/2)

Juan: "It's for Emily. I hope wherever she is she can hear it. That's all that really matters now."

Nikolas: "Oh, this is great, Juan. Emily's been kidnapped, and you're cheating on her again."

Gia: "You know, I like a good fight as well as the next person, but the two of you need to chill."

Nikolas: "Since when are you the voice of reason?"
Gia: "It worked."

Juan: "He was wrong. Emily would never act like Zander was her boyfriend. She'd be trying to get away from him."

Gia: "If I were Emily, I'd be doing everything I could to keep from getting hurt or killed. And making a friend of Zander is one kind of protection."
Nikolas: "So Emily didn't ask for help when the cop stopped them because she's got the situation under control."
Gia: "Possibly. Maybe she's sure Zander will let her go once he's safe and she doesn't want to blow it."

Juan: "Emily would never help that creep. Don't judge her by your standards."

Gia: "What does that girl see in him?"
Nikolas: "Beats me. Look, don't let him get to you, ok?"

II. Heart to Heart (10/2)

Zander: "You see, the guy's a jerk."
Emily: "No, no. He wanted to make me jealous. He feels terrible about it."
Zander: "Oh, yeah, I'll bet."
Emily: "I wasn't any better. Honestly, I ended up stoned with some guy Ted."
Zander: "Hey, fight or no fight, Juan should've been taking care of you."
Emily: "That was the first bad thing that had ever happened between us, and we just fell apart, you know? Kind of makes me wonder if we were ever really in love in the first place."

Zander: "Well, don't ask me. I mean, as soon as I get serious with a girl, I mean, I'm gone."
Emily: "The only people that I ever knew that were really, truly in love were Elizabeth and Lucky."
Zander: "Really? See, I never really got that."
Emily: "Yeah, well, you didn't get to know them under the right circumstances, you know?"

Emily: "And I was really hoping that I was going to be able to find that kind of love with Juan because it's what I wanted."
Zander: "We all want to be special to someone. You know, and before you know it, you know, we're in over our heads."

Emily: "It was like, 'why can't we just stick it out the way that Elizabeth and Lucky had and not turn to someone else?' Maybe I love Juan but I'm not in love with him. Maybe it's not love at all. Maybe it's just, like, wish fulfillment or something."
Zander: "Or maybe Juan's too stupid to see how special you really are."

Emily: "I'm going to tell the police exactly what happened--the truth. You know, how you didn't kill that undercover cop and how you saved my life."
Zander: "You know, even if you can get the cops to back off, I still got Sorel to watch out for."
Emily: "Yeah, that's true. I hope you're, you know, safe from him in Canada."
Zander: "I know one thing. I'm going to miss you."
