Jax and Chloe:

I. Curses! Foiled Again! (6/1)

Chloe: "These headaches are just getting worse and worse, Jax."
Jax: "I'm taking you to the hospital."
Chloe: "No. Tony can't do anything for me, not without that European drug."

Chloe: "Look. The harbor is so beautiful this time of year."
Jax: "You want to take something for the pain?"
Chloe: "Uh-uh. I don't want to sleep."
Jax: "Because of the dreams?"
Chloe: "Look at the lights on the water. I hope they release that drug soon, Jax."
Jax: "Hey. They will, I promise."

Jax: "I'm not leaving now."
Chloe: "You are dying to get out of here, and I can use some time alone, so go."
Jax: "Ok, but I won't be long, all right? I love you."

Jax: "You win."
Edward: "Excuse me?"
Jax: "You win, Edward. It's over."
Edward: "Do you really believe that you can trick me at this late stage of the game, huh?"
Jax: "E.L.Q. is yours. Do whatever you want with it. Keep it in the family as long as you want, sell it by the end of the day--I don't care. I'm out."

Jax: "Some things in life are more important than business."

Edward: "Are you using my grandniece to get out of this deal?"
Jax: "If I don't find the right medication for Chloe, she could go blind."

Edward: "So you're buying the company, huh?"
Jax: "No, I'm buying the conglomerate that owns the company. I need complete control."
Edward: "You're spreading yourself too thin."
Jax: "I know. But if it were Lila, what would you do?"
Edward: "Well, I'll--I'll pay a few points over, if that helps."
Jax: "Edward, market value is fine."
Edward: "You will let us know if Chloe needs anything, huh?"
Jax: "I'll take care of her."
Edward: "Well, then let's just consider it a deal, huh?"
Jax: "Welcome back to E.L.Q."
Edward: "You never even came close."

Edward: "Chloe could've done worse than choosing you, young man."
Jax: "I'll get you next time."

Chloe: "Well, if I get tired enough, maybe I could get some sleep."
Alexis: "Why aren't you sleeping?"
Chloe: "I keep having these wild dreams."

Ned: "All right, here's the deal. Join us for lunch."
Alexis: "Or we leave you at home."
Ned: "It's your call."
Chloe: "You all are impossible, you know that?"
Alexis: "That's right."
Ned: "Thank you."
Alexis: "And impossible is good sometimes, don't you think? You're impossible--"
Ned: "I love being impossible."

Chloe: "Have you been terrorizing Edward?"
Jax: "Not exactly."

Chloe: "You sold out to Edward to help me?"
Jax: "Chloe, I'll do whatever it takes."

Jax: "Guess who owns the European conglomerate? Helena Cassadine."

Amy: "Terry sure called it on Helena owning the company, didn't she? But my God, now the Jax and Edward stuff has come to nothing! I was looking forward to some ELQ/business storyline, which would draw in Jax, Chloe, the Qs, Ned, Alexis, etc. Instead, it was a little sideline nothing that made Edward look silly, while Jax claimed to Chloe it was 'too late' but then backed out when it suited him. I'd be mad as hell that he told he couldn't get out when I asked and then was doing it now. Big ol' nothing out of something that had a bit of potential."

Terry: "Sorta like the mixed marriages, you mean? *G* Still, I think something may come of it yet. At least, I hope so. Then again, I'm watching today's show as I type, so I know that the Qs at least are still talking fallout from it."

Amy: "Even less than the mixed marriages. But while it may become a Q storyline, that kind of defeats the potential of having other characters involved in it, doesn't it? Pttth."

Joan: "Are we still getting fallout? I thought as Amy did, that this was yet another case of a Jax storyline shooting blanks. Gee, I hope Chloe doesn't want to get pregnant..."

Arda: "I was very disappointed. Life is frequently anticlimactic, but stories shouldn't be. In fiction, when a potential conflict is raised (Jax vs. Edward), the resolution can't be that one of the players simply changes his mind. I did wonder if this flat finish has to do with Ingo's leaving GH. But it's been common knowledge for some time, and I imagine the powers that be knew (or at least suspected he'd leave) weeks before the audience did."

II. Jax Confronts Helena (6/5)

Chloe: "Helena has already tried to kill you. That's what this woman does. She slits throats, she runs people down with cars--those are the things we know about. You can't get personal with Helena Cassadine."

Chloe: "I don't want tire tracks on the man I love, ok?"

Helena: "Well, you're only welcome if your disposition has improved. The last time we met, you were positively foul."
Jax: "Best behavior, I promise."
Helena: "Then you must want something."
Jax: "A favor, which you will get in return of equal or greater value."
Helena: "Intriguing but vague. What could you possibly do for me?"
Jax: "It's your call."
Helena: "Oh, Mr. Jacks, you've certainly got my attention."

Helena: "Please sit down."
Jax: "Oh, I'm fine standing."
Helena: "Sit."
Jax: "Ok. I'll sit."

Helena: "Well, I--I had no idea."
Jax: "Oh, I doubt that."

Helena: "Well, I think I'm offended."
Jax: "I'm sure you'll get over it."

Jax: "You know, you have no legal or financial reason to keep this drug from Chloe. So if you persist in doing so, I'll have to assume that your reason is personal."
Helena: "Oh, everything is personal, Mr. Jacks, especially when you become acquainted with someone."

Jax: "Chloe, I'm not giving up just yet, ok? Even if Helena turns me down, there may be another way to persuade her through someone else."
Chloe: "Who?"
Jax: "Stefan."

III. We'll Have to Find Us Another Cassadine (6/6)

Stefan: "You said it was urgent."
Jax: "Yes, we have a common goal. And I think it's time we started working together."

Jax: "It's owned by your mother."
Stefan: "I assumed as much."

Stefan: "I'm sorry, Mr. Jacks. I can't help you."

Stefan: "It should appeal to me, I know. But with Spencer waging a private war against me, I can't afford to split my focus."

Jax: "How can you refuse Chloe? I mean, you're going after Helena anyway, right? So what are you going to lose? Nothing."
Stefan: "I assure you, Mr. Jacks, this is nothing personal. Dealing with Helena leaves no room for sentimentality. Good day."

Jax: "He doesn't want my help."
Chloe: "You mean he doesn't want to help me."
Jax: "No, Chloe, I don't think it has anything to do with you."
Chloe: "No? It's my eyes, Jax."

Chloe: "No, Jax, we are not going to put Alexis at risk. We will find some other way to get to Helena."

Jax: "On the night Helena ran you down with her car, Alexis was devastated, ok? She felt responsible."
Chloe: "But it wasn't her fault."
Jax: "I know. Ned and I tried to tell her that, but you got to see it from her point of view, ok? She provoked Helena, then gave you her coat. And in her mind, that makes her responsible."
Chloe: "I didn't realize she still felt that way."
Jax: "All I'm saying is it would be kindness to let her help you."
Chloe: "Just as long as she is protected."
Jax: "You know, A.J.'s right. You are like Lila."
Chloe: "That is the nicest compliment."

Chloe: "You know what's crazy? I think I am happier right now than I ever have been in my whole life. I mean, I don't mean the headaches or the nightmares, but you and me."
