Ned and Alexis (cont.):

II. Another Warm Family Moment (7/28)

Alexis: "Ned, I need your opinion. Do you think that I'm a tool of the establishment, play-by-the-rules stuffed shirt? Thanks. I needed that. You know, I think that we should go someplace spontaneous, someplace where I can be free and show you just how edgy I am. Not that edgy. I'll meet you at Luke's. See you later. Bye."

Alexis: "Not everyone can be as efficient as you are, Helena--leveling your enemies with a flick of your wrist."

Helena: "Hmm. Accusations, accusations, accusations. They bore me."

Alexis: "Ah. But, see, then I miss all the fun when Luke comes back and clears his name and the men in the funny suits come and take you away."
Helena: "Slightly after the polar ice caps have dissolved into the sea."

Helena: "Hmm. Same old colorless little drone."
Alexis: "Yeah, well, I understand drones make excellent trustees. You see, in a couple of days, I will be taking over the Cassadine estate."
Helena: "Ah. Mistaken again. And how very unwise of you to pose as an obstacle to me. Your mother did it and lived to regret it. Though, not very long, I'll admit."
Alexis: "My mother was a sensitive artist. Fragile, perhaps. But, see, I grew up in the Cassadine household. I can take care of myself."
Helena: "Hmm. Divas have oversized egos. But prick them, and they bleed profusely, as do drones, troublesome stepchildren, and overly confident fools. Cute. Good-bye, drone."

III. This Time, It's AJ Who's the Life of the Party (7/31)

Alexis: "I'll pass on the drink, but feel free to bestow your largess on the rest of the room while it lasts."

A.J.: "This is not an isolated incident. For once in my life, I can't lose. I mean, how can anyone not love the irony in that, huh?"
Alexis: "Remind me to let you buy my lotto tickets next week."

A.J.: "Well, you might want to cover your ears. What I have to say you probably don't want to hear."
Ned: "Well, that's never stopped you before. Why start precedents now?"

A.J.: "But in the end, disillusioned and miserable, you'll walk away. The women we love always do."

Alexis: "Well, he sure told us."
Ned: "Oh, yes."

Alexis: "True. Your track record with women is deplorable, but I suppose you had to do something to pass the time while you were waiting for me."

Alexis: "Hey. What really matters here is despite any superficial similarities between you and A.J. As a result of your common upbringing, you have survived Edward and become the smart, talented, sensitive, successful-by-all-rights man that I'm crazy about, not the bitter shell that just walked out of here. So much for you and A.J. being alike."

Alexis: "I am spontaneous. I am spontaneous."
Ned: "That's what I love about you."
Alexis: "I am spontaneous."
Ned: "It's not the only thing I love about you, but--"
Alexis: "Hi."
