Taggert/Hannah/AJ (cont.):
II. AJ Apologizes, but Doesn't Give Up (7/25)
Hannah: "Will you stop?"
A.J.: "Why should I?"
A.J.: "Well, now you can dust for prints any time you get the urge."
Hannah: "I love it, A.J. Thank you."
A.J.: "You're welcome."
Amy: "You know, I keep thinking of Keesha with these scenes of AJ and
Hannah, especially when they're at Kelly's. It's a similar dynamic, for me."
"I'd
like to see AJ get his act together, but I don't want to see him do that with
Hannah--it would be like a reward for his sucky behavior right now. It would fit,
though, because Hannah would have managed to save AJ where she couldn't save Sonny,
etc.--and I think Taggert's right. She wants to fix things. She may dump Taggert
precisely because he doesn't need her help to pull his life together."
"At any rate, Hannah and AJ seem very dysfunctional, and I'd rather see this
be AJ's rebound girl and see him move on to somebody else."
Joan:
"I admit I'm curious to see Marcus's family (as rumor says we will), although
I doubt if they do show up we'll see much more of the kinder, mellower Taggert.
Remember, it was his family who drove little Marcus Taggert out on the streets
to do bad things, and if Sonny's abusive step-dad Deke was the best thing in Taggert's
young life, how good a thing is it for them to reappear now?"
"As for AJ and Hannah, I approve heartily, if getting them together means
they will leave town and start fresh somewhere else. I don't like Billy Warlock,
although I admit he is acting his little heart out of late, and I don't like Lisa
Vultaggio, who is still acting with her chest and is only marginally better with
the new focus to AJ and Taggert. I usually am in the opposite predicament, i.e.,
liking the actors but disliking their characters or storylines. In this case,
I believe that with different actors I might actually give a rat's patootie whether
AJ scores with Hannah Banana or not. This, way, I could care less."
