Roy and Bobbie (cont.):

Amy: "I find myself hoping and hoping for a stumbling block with these two. They were too easy. I wish we'd seen a struggle, a decision, rather than seeing Bobbie 'realize' that she had never ever stopped being desperately in love with Roy. And I'm hoping that the money stuff will be the thing. Split 'em up for a while and let us see him with somebody else, perhaps."

Terry: "Roy seems to have regressed Bobbie to her 70s persona. Roy has real potential, I think, and I welcome this addition to the canvas. A Martinez has really impressed me, and I want to see him stick around a long time. I do want him to have the chance to explore the complexities of a man dealing with freedom after so long a time and a man trying to reclaim the life he'd dreamed of. He and Stefan are my two fave men on GH, and I think there is a similar underlying sadness and hunger for what might have been in both of them. Played in different keys at the moment, natch, since Roy is getting a second chance with his one great love, while Stefan is recovering from the botched attempt to live out his own romantic dreams."

Amy: "I really do like Roy's tension over money--very late 70s/early 80s stuff like Luke, which reinforces the time away, etc. On the other hand I cracked up when Bobbie told Roy, 'But the great thing is that the two apartments are separate,' and then told Carly that there was no room for her. So let Bobbie charge her rent! Play the landlady! But I tend to think that she's still going to try to get Roy in there, so she doesn't want Carly in there. That's too bad. I wish I could see that she was genuinely trying to do what she thought was best for Carly, but she hasn't stopped to listen to what's really going on. Her response? 'What have you done this time?' Sonny can see that Carly has changed; Bobbie can't."

"Here's hopin' the gambling stuff will bring good things for Roy too. Heck, it's already brought back the back room...."

Terry: "I'm still waiting for Carly to open up shop as an interior decorator. She'd be great. I was kinda lost during the 'lamp-shopping' scene, although I think we had some preemptions, so maybe I missed some parts. Carly offered Roy advice, but then he wound up clutching a lamp he liked, she suggested he get two the same, and that was that. How much advising did that take? It worked, however, since he made the choice; she just gave him the confidence to go with his instincts, I guess. Then he got home and Bobbie had furnished his whole damn apartment. Crack me up. And I loved Carly's cracks about the décor. Where does Bobbie get off?"

Amy: "I couldn't help thinking that it's sooooo Katherine Bell decorating Nikolas's new place. Gross."
