Sonny and Carly:

• Elizabeth leaves, and Carly asks Sonny why he sees Elizabeth as a sweet girl and her as a whore. Sonny doesn't buy what she's saying, but Carly sees the difference in the way he treats her and tells him that she and Michael won't be moving back in after all. Sonny spends the evening alone, while Carly goes to see Lila. (7/24)
• Carly runs into Roy at the lamp store and helps him take his purchases home, where they find Bobbie has decorated the whole place already. (7/25)
• When Mike cancels their trip because he's lost money gambling, Tammy tells him that she won't come second behind Lady Luck. She wants him to stop, but he tells her that he's on a roll. (7/25)
• When two thugs show up at Kelly's, Tammy tells Mike to go to Sonny for money and/or protection. He refuses. Meanwhile, Sorel meets with the thugs; Mike's merely the set-up to get to Sonny. (7/26)
• Carly asks Sonny to be the second responsible adult on Michael's preschool enrollment, and he agrees. They talk about her and Michael moving back in, but don't come to an agreement. Alexis interrupts, and warns Sonny not to support Carly, but he tells her it's not her call to make. (7/27)
• Meanwhile, Carly goes to Kelly's and starts a fight with Elizabeth (who gives as good as she gets) in front of Lucky. Lucky goes after Elizabeth when she walks off her shift, and finds her with Sonny on the docks. At the same time, Bobbie arrives and scolds Carly for picking on Elizabeth, which doesn't sit well with Carly. (7/27)
• The thugs are back for Mike, meanwhile, and suggest a refresher course on getting payment in on time, and in full. Taggert intervenes, a fight breaks out, and Hannah arrives, gun drawn, to break it up. (7/27)
• Taggert wants to make the arrest, but Mike refuses to press charges. He tells Tammy that the hole he's in is getting deeper. He won't go to Sonny, so he's going to lie low a while until he can get himself out of this mess. (7/28)
• Bobbie continues going around with Carly about Elizabeth. Sonny shows up next and tells Carly that she has proven herself to him, shown him what she really is with her treatment of Elizabeth. She sits, stunned and crying by herself outside of Kelly's, when Roy arrives. He listens to her, reassures her, and they don't see Sonny arrive behind them. (7/28)
• Sonny apologizes. Carly does too, and then he takes her home to the brownstone. She tells him she can't stay there, and he offers her a house or a move back to the penthouse. She says that she should probably move into Jason's penthouse instead. (7/31)
• Meanwhile, Mike asks Roy for money, and Roy reluctantly agrees once he sees how Sorel is leaning on Mike to get to Sonny. (7/31)
