The Quartermaines:

• After the financial committee meeting screeches to a halt due to the squabbling between Helena and Alexis, Helena announces that Alexis has moved into the apartment across from Sonny's. The Qs go up in arms against anything that would bring Sonny's influence back on the hospital, and Alexis calls them all hypocrites. (8/8)
• Monica talks with Audrey about the prospects of having a baby, and about Alan's jealousy. Meanwhile, Edward announces that he's had AJ arrested for insider trading, and only Lila sees right through him. (8/10)
• While the others are at the rave, Emily has a talk with her mom. (8/11)
• When Ned comes home at an emergency call from Edward, he refuses to help Edward bankrupt AJ. Edward wants AJ to hit rock bottom, but Monica and Alan insist that AJ has to deal with this on his own, and that nobody can help him to do that. Afterwards, Ned greets his grandmother while Alan and Monica bicker. (8/15)
• Alan comes in wiped out from a run, and Emily tells him that he doesn't have to change for Monica to love him. Edward comes in next and ridicules Alan for the whole baby plan, but Lila tells him to stay out of it. Finally, Monica arrives from a dip in the pool and tells Alan it's time. After convincing him that he can perform at the drop of at hat if he has to, she tells him that he doesn't have to. She was just testing. (8/17)
• Alan and Monica get in the mood by bickering with each other, but Edward asks them to please not procreate in the den. He tells them they should pay closer attention to Emily, and Monica assures him that she's fine, not knowing that she's at the rave and in danger. (8/21)
• When Edward hears that Sonny's been arrested, he pages Monica and Alan and instructs them to file for custody of Michael while Carly's vulnerable. They say no, as does Lila. (8/23)
• AJ tells Edward that he will not stop drinking to increase his chances of winning back Michael; he's going to get his son back on his own terms. He then tells Monica that her bid to replace her grown children with a new one won't work. She and Alan assure each other that they just want a child for the child's sake, but they're interrupted by Edward. (8/24)
• The big day comes. (8/30)
• When Carly comes to visit Lila, she tells her that Jason's back. Edward overhears, and calls all of the family in to hear the news. (8/31)
