Taggert/Hannah/AJ:
- Taggert and Hannah meet in the park, but once he gets called away, AJ stages
a mugging to get Hannah's attention. She falls for it, and helps him back to his
hotel, where he kisses her. She tells him again that they're just friends; he
tells her again that he doesn't believe it. (8/8)
- This time around, AJ gets himself arrested for passing around money and stirring
up a "riot." He tells Taggert that Hannah will fall for him because he lets her
save him, and then Mac lets him go with a warning. (8/9)
- When Edward has AJ arrested for insider trading, AJ takes it as a sign that
Hannah can't stay away. She releases him as soon as she can, tells Taggert that
she was only doing her job, and then the two of them leave together. Meanwhile,
Dara is not at all happy about their romance, warns Taggert about Hannah, and
tells Mac--when he asks about Taggert's personal life getting in the way of his
job--that she doesn't trust Hannah, but she does trust Taggert still. (8/10)
- When AJ floods the brownstone with flowers, Bobbie warns Hannah that AJ doesn't
see her as a friend, and that she needs to be careful around him or she'll be
hurt. (8/15)
- Taggert asks Bobbie about the flowers, and then goes to Kelly's to find Hannah.
She's having breakfast with AJ, but Taggert merely thanks AJ for the flowers and
leaves them alone. Hannah again reminds AJ that they're just friends, but it's
clear that he thinks he's making some progress. (8/16)
- AJ shows up at the brownstone, wanting to buy the place or move in as a tenant.
Bobbie says no, and Taggert backs her up, but he's called Hannah in and claims
that he's being discriminated against. Later, Hannah and Taggert talk about her
response to AJ. At work, Taggert says that they have a tip on Sorel, and asks
her to go along on the bust. (8/17)
- Hannah's worried that Taggert's making this personal, and convinces him to
play by the book. AJ arrives to comment on their discussion, and Hannah tells
him to back off. (8/18)
- Hannah and Taggert follow the anonymous tip and find Sonny, Carly, and Sorel
in the motel room. They arrest them all. (8/21)
- Bobbie and Roy come to the police station when they hear Sonny's been arrested.
Hannah fills them in, and Dara questions her integrity, suggesting that she could
be funneling information to Sonny through her father. Hannah, Roy, and Bobbie
all come down on her, but Mac still asks Hannah to consider leaving the case.
(8/22)
- After dropping by the brownstone to taunt Carly about putting Sonny in jail,
paving the way for him to take Michael away from her, AJ goes to the courthouse
and taunts Ned. Hannah hears him and calls him a jerk. (8/23)
- Taggert asks Roy not to make things harder for Hannah at work, and Roy tells
him not to interfere. Hannah tells him that he doesn't have to protect her from
her own father. They make a date for that night. Later, after a lovely family
visit, AJ comes bearing a gift of water pistols. (8/24)
- AJ arrives at Roy's apartment to find Mac's questioning Hannah about her father.
Once Mac leaves, AJ says that he sometimes only pretends to be drunk because it
gets people to go away. They wind up having dinner together, while Mac asks Taggert
about Hannah's judgment. (8/29)
- This time, AJ purposefully goes overboard in a boat just off the beach where
Taggert and Hannah are enjoying a sunset picnic. They draw a line in the sand,
and Hannah apologizes for paving the way for AJ to hang around. (8/30)
